Give Hope 5K and Fun Run

May 5



8:30 a.m.

Children’s of Alabama is hosting the Give Hope 5K and Fun Run at Veterans Park in Hoover. The 5K will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the Fun Run will begin at 9:30 a.m. The registration fee is $25 for the 5K and $10 for the Fun Run. Children age 10 and under are free. The registration fee covers a race day T-shirt and goodie bag. The event will also feature a kids zone and live music. To register, visit Give.childrensal.org/GiveHope2018.

Riverchase Country Club

2018 Regions Tradition

May 16-20

Greystone Golf & Country Club

Professional golfers and spectators alike will converge on Greystone Golf & Country Club the week of May 16-20 for the 2018 Regions Tradition, Alabama’s annual PGA TOUR Champions tournament that was held at Greystone for the first time in 2015. The NCR Celebrity Pro-Am will be held May 16 at 6:50 a.m. Bernhard Langer, last year’s champion, will return, along with John Daly, Miguel Angel Jiménez and David Toms. Want to relax during the tournament? Go to the Watering Hole at the 10th hole, where a variety of adult beverages and prime golf course views await.
