1. Household Hazardous Waste Day

It is such a great way for the residents of Hoover to safely dispose of household chemicals, pesticides, paints, batteries, automobile fluids, electronics, medications, guns, ammo and other hazardous items.

2. Patton Creek Art Festival

April 2 | 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

Fifty artists and master crafters have been pushing themselves to complete spectacular pieces just for you. Variety in oils, acrylics, watercolors, wood, glass, jewelry, clay, metal, mixed media and many more. Don’t miss the art exhibit!

3. American Red Cross Blood Drive

The American Red Cross is facing a national blood crisis – its worst blood shortage in over a decade, posing a concerning risk to patient care. Donate blood at this blood drive at the Finley Center. See details here.

4. Live Trivia at The Casual Pint

5. Debbie Bond Blues Band

Alabama based singer, guitar player and songwriter Debbie Bond and Debbie Bond Blues Band will play Live on The Plaza at the Hoover Public Library.

6. Judy M. Merritt Memorial 5K

April 16 | 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Veterans Park

The eigth Annual Judy M. Merritt Memorial 5K & Community EGGstravaganza is back in person this year on Saturday, April 16 at 9:00 a.m. at Hoover’s Veterans Park. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever with great prizes for both the 5K Run and the free 10,000-plus egg hunt for all ages. Find more details here.

7. Celebrate Hoover Day
